Doug is a third generation salesman! He has a degree in Business Management and Marketing from Concordia University, St. Paul in Minneapolis. Doug’s education combined with years of sales experience and extensive training in sales, project management & logistics is what makes him a great fit for the position.
He is pleased to work for a company that has a distinct advantage in the business telephone and internet industry, as BendTel is the only locally owned and operated b2b Telephone Company and ISP in Central Oregon. The friendly work environment along with the tight knit relationships that he has formed with his colleagues is something he finds truly refreshing.
Doug’s experience helping small start-up companies get off the ground and larger corporations find cohesiveness has given him a greater appreciation for his position with BendTel. Their open door policy is encouraging as is the ability to have unobstructed communication, feedback, and accessibility to colleagues. The engineering department is a huge benefit, not only for him and his sales team, but for the customer as well.
Having this convenient contact with coworkers allows for shortened wait time on trouble tickets, quicker email responses and faster replies to customers’ needs strengthens the business and improves the customer’s experience.
