BendTel maintains a local data center that takes full advantage of our fast, reliable network. We offer shared web hosting and email, or you can colocate your own server. We offer standard relay racks or 4-post server racks and burstable connections with flexible bandwidth rates.

Web Hosting

NOTE: server-side FrontPage extensions are no longer supported.

All hosting packages include:

• email domain hosting with web mailbox access and administration
• spam and virus filtering
• DNS hosting with web DNS editor
• SSL capability (requires certificate, see below)
• graphical web log analyzer (AWStats)

Additional Services:

• Low cost domain name registration in most Top Level Domains at $15/year.
• A domain name transfer from another registrar to BendTel will be treated the same as a new domain registration, as one year will be added to the registration time, with most Top Level Domains at $15/year.
• SSL certificates can be registered through us at $175/year Certificates are purchased through QuickSSL. Pricing includes dedicated IP address required for SSL.

Email Hosting

Why run your own email server? We provide remote access services that make it easy to send and receive mail from anywhere. Whether you use Mozilla, Microsoft Outlook, or our Web Mail interface, we've got you covered. We provide large storage space, quick mail access, and virus and spam filtering.

Our mail servers support IMAP, POP, and SMTP with SMTP AUTH so you can send mail from anywhere with your normal e-mail client. We make e-mail easy and hassle-free.

• Email domain hosting is $8.95 for each block of 25 accounts.
• Spam and Virus scanning service is free with BendTel hosted email.
• Postini service is $1/account and can be configured for BendTel or self-hosted servers. Available in blocks of 5.
• Mailman list services start at $10/month for list of 500 members or less. Special rates are available for non-profit organizations.

Co-Location

We operate a full-service co-location center complete with redundancies on all critical services including; power systems utilizing a diesel generator, air conditioning, Internet access, Switches and Routers, multiple-path SONET, multiple-path gigabit Ethernet, and industry standard relay racks. With all these features right here in Central Oregon, we still keep our pricing competitive with national co-location markets.

All pricing is per month. We offer competetive volume and bundle discounts; call for a quote.

Rack Space

• 1U server: $125
• 2U server: $150
• 3U or 4U server: $200
• 5U server: $225
• 6U or 8U server: $275
• Quarter Rack/10U: $425
• Half Rack/21U: $600
• Full Rack/40U: $1,050 (Dedicated rack power sometimes uses at least 1U.)

All other equipment such as hubs, switches, tape drives are to be rack mounted and billed at $50 per Unit of rack space and includes one AC socket. If a power brick is used instead of a power cord and takes up 2 power outlets there is an additional $20 charge.

• Power & Switchports
  • Single servers from 1U to 8U include one AC socket and one switchport. There may be additional charges for some power and switch port requirements.
  • Quarter Rack includes up to 4 AC sockets and 1 switchport.
  • Half Rack includes up to 8 AC sockets and 1 switchport.
  • Full Rack includes up to 12 (more can be made available) sockets and 1 switchport.
• Bandwidth Options
  1. Single Servers of 1U to 8U receives up to 100GB of data transfer per month and is billed at $2/GB/month beyond 100GB.
  2. We also offer competetive dedicated transfer rates billed at 95th percentile.

This area is away from the threat of hurricanes, floods, tornados, earthquakes and other natural disasters that could devastate your information infrastructure, making it an ideal location to house disaster recovery servers.
